The proximity of the border and the geographical location in Europe are at the origin of the 2nd particularity of the University of Metz. The Franco-German or Franco-American trainings or binationales schools benefit from the foreign languages department of University of Metz:



Communication High School:

Besides the traditional training preparing for the baccalaureats L, ES and S, the communication high school offers careers in electronics (Bacc and STS), as well as two other high-level technician sections.
Communication of the firm Audio-visual profession with four options: (picture, sound, engineering techniques and equipment exploitation, assembly and post-production)
 
ESIDEC :

Trains managers in clearly identified professions such as logistics, industrial marketing and purchasing. Recruiting graduates with three years of post-baccalaureats education , the school prepares students to take on responsabilities within these three fields. The formation leads to a Bac level + five diploma.
 

ENSAM :

Number one ranked French engineering school with more than1,000 graduates per year. Engineers with general training in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. The research and teaching center of Metz offers dual degree courses:
· Franco-German with the Universities of Karlsruhe and Dresde
· Franco-American with the Georgia Institute of Technology of Atlanta.
